Primary School (From Age 5 to 11years) Primary 1 - 6 The Primary School programs build on the goals of the Early Years Program. Learners are equipped with skills to maximize their cognitive, physical, and social/emotional potentials. We deploy a developmentally appropriate learning approach that is supported by a comprehensive, thematic designed curriculum. Teachers develop relationships with students to understand how they learn best and what interests them. Our core curriculum infuses art, music, cultural and language studies. We emphasize the development of a whole child and allow learners to develop a greater sense of self, through creative learning. A more in-depth study of Nigerian history is introduced during these very informative years, allowing learners to gain a deeper appreciation of cultural and national pride. Developmentally appropriate learning experiences, such as educational field trips, cultural programs, internal and external competitions, and leadership roles, promote quick acquisition of excellent social skills.
